Okay, time to get the DD announcement off the journal. Not because I'm not still chuffed, but because I promised myself I wouldn't go endless months without updating again.

It dawned upon me not too long ago that I don't really have a style. Or rather, my 'style' is to be utterly inconsistent. In fact, the only bit that I can point at and say, 'See that? I'm the only one who can do that!' is the 3d rotationals, and those are actually rather difficult to do. For every one I post up here, I have at least half a dozen I refuse to post because they are utter, utter crap.

And I've actually had the urge to create a tutorial for them, thus eliminating the one unique signature I have. Lord help me.

I just acquired Brushes for my iPhone, so now I have yet another art toy that I'll use twice and forget about.



Well, it was 'no' on food stamps and 'yes' on rate reduction for the electric, not that it's made any difference sicne they didn't actually apply it to my bill. And things are only getting worse...

I've been working for over 2 weeks straight without a break and without getting paid. I'm getting really freaking sick of this, but every time I try to say something about it, I get an, "I'm your mother, don't you want to help me?" guilt trip. Yes, Mom, I want to help, but not if it means I end up homeless again!

Mom's filing for bankruptcy, Dad has gone AWOL and is slowly drinking himself to death with whatever money he can scrounge together, and I'm left to be the sane one. Is it any wonder that I'm not doing as much art right now?

I cried heavily when I watched UP. If that's not an indicator of my mental state, I don't know what is.
