(deemed ineligible because I missed a subtle distinction about something in the rules). Made in the opposite way from normal--instead of picking one formula and varying the OCA, I picked one OCA and varied the formula. There are 5 layers total to this image, all with different formulae. I chose Triangle Inequality Average for both my OCA and ICA--the contest didn't say anythign about whether or not we could vary the ICA, and I didn't feel like taking chances. Besides which, it meshes very well to have the same coloring algorythm (bah, can't spell) on the inside and outside of each formula.
